We’re preparing to run our third annual staff recruitment campaign as a co-operative advertising opportunity for member businesses. This is a powerful channel for driving potential employees to your website, with a $40,000 advertising investment on your behalf.
The campaign will be staggered, with the first tactics starting the week of January 29th, aimed to capture the attention of those planning their summer employment early. To participate, please email me this form by Thursday, January 26.
In 2023, this campaign drove 55,894 page views of https://tourismtofino.com/work-in-tofino/ from the initial winter/spring campaign period and the extra campaign add-on in summer to help alleviate staffing challenges due to the June closure of Highway 4.
Ads will mainly target students ages 18-24 in BC and Alberta, then Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and in select social tactics to Quebec. The secondary audience will be people working at ski resorts in BC and Alberta.
The ads will run on:
+ Meta posts and stories (Instagram and Facebook)
+ Pelmorex (i.e. the Weather Network mobile app)
+ Display banners on desktop and mobile sites
