We’re finding new ways to stay warm this December with the inaugural Tofino Hot Cocoa Trail! Throughout the month, over 10 Member food & beverage businesses are offering a unique take on the classic hot cocoa.
Drinking chocolatey goodness also has its perks: we are running a contest from December 1st – 10th for a chance to win a gift basket with items from Tofino businesses, valued at over $250! We will be asking people to post a photo or video of their hot cocoa on Instagram with #TofinoHotCocoa and to tag @tourismtofino and the business their hot cocoa is from for their chance to win. This is geared towards increasing awareness of the Tofino Hot Cocoa Trail and driving engagement for local businesses. All businesses involved in the gift basket will be tagged in our social media posts about the prize pack to increase visibility and potentially drive sales their way.
All participating food & beverage businesses will be receiving tent cards to display at their point-of-sale and/or guest reception desk (for resorts) advertising the Tofino Hot Cocoa Trail with a QR code linked to the website to generate traction with the Hot Cocoa Trail and contest. Keep an eye on our socials for upcoming posts about each of the creative cocoas in the coming weeks.
