To support essential goods transport, convoys for commercial vehicles will be guided along the Cameron Bluffs fire detour route. The piloted convoys will leave Westbound from Lake Cowichan at 5 am and 3 pm and Eastbound from Port Alberni at 10 am and 8pm. Other drivers will be placed behind the convoys to prioritize the movement of essential goods, such as fuel and food. All drivers are asked to travel for essential purposes only.
