Tourism Tofino is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Parsell as Executive Director. “We are very excited to welcome Brad to our team of tourism marketing and destination management experts.” said Samantha Hackett, Tourism Tofino Board Chair. “Brad brings diverse experience and knowledge to our organization and to the community. He will be a valued asset as we continue to support the evolving model for attracting visitors and serving stakeholders.”
Brad joins Tourism Tofino from the Fernie Chamber of Commerce, as Executive Director for the last three years. During this time, he chaired the Destination Management Committee for Kootenay Rockies Tourism. He has launched successful initiatives including Fernie’s first coworking space, and a workforce attraction website. He has also served as Chair of the Fernie Tourism Master Plan Committee.
Brad begins his new position at the end of November 2022.
