Tofino has been named one of the World’s 50 Greatest Places in 2022 by TIME Magazine. To gather this list, they solicited nominations from their international network of correspondents and contributors, with an eye towards those offering new and exciting experiences.
With the support of some of our members, we hosted journalist Claudia Laroye in March 2022 and she nominated Tofino as an extraordinary destination to explore. We are thrilled to share our place on the list (in no particular order) with destinations such as the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, The Arctic, Nairobi, Bali, Maderia and The Alentejo in Portugal, Kaunas in Lithuania, San Francisco, Marseilles and Copenhagen to name a few.
