We are proud to announce that from June 30th to August 25th, we collected over 5000 pieces of debris and litter from North and South Chesterman Beach. This included 819 cigarettes, 677 pieces of plastic and 663 pieces of foam!

We are happy to continue the effort by accepting marine debris to recycle at the Tofino Visitor Center. In conjunction with Surfrider Pacific Rim we accept the following marine debris: hard plastics, rope, netting and Styrofoam. All items will be taken to the Ocean Plastic Depot for recycling.
