Keeping our visitors safe and informed is a Tourism Tofino priority. To support the work and messaging of the teams at CoastSmart, Pacific Rim National Park Reserve and the District of Tofino, we are endeavouring to avoid posting photos of:
+ People standing on rocks situated along the water’s edge
+ Beach fires
+ Dogs off-leash
+ Alcohol on the beach (we have not been posting this for years but it’s a good reminder)
+ The Bomber Trail – We cannot be promoting a trail that is unmaintained and unsanctioned, with the worst-case scenario being a hurt and/or lost visitor who was inspired to visit by seeing our post. These things happen.
