Stage 3 water restrictions go into effect on Monday, July 10, 2023. Find out more information including details of a town hall on water conservation the week of July 17 in a letter from District of Tofino CAO Nyla Attiana here.
During Stage 3 water restrictions, all outdoor water use is prohibited. Including:
• No boat rinsing or washing
• No bicycle rinsing or washing
• No car rinsing washing
• No wetsuit rinsing or washing
• No landscape, garden, lawn or food plant watering
• No outdoor pressure washing
• No window washing
• No hot tub or pool top ups or fill ups
• No outdoor showering
• No outdoor foot washing or rinsing
Tonquin & Maltby washroom facilities will remain open. All other washroom facilities will be closed and replaced with porta potties. Outdoor showers will be shut off during this time.
