Traffic congestion and parking pressure has started to build and although we don’t have the free shuttle bus service this year, there are other options to recommend to your guests that will improve their experience while reducing congestion. Please enourage visitors to leave their vehicle at their accommodation property and use a taxi, ride-share, bike or shuttle service to get around Tofino. Options include:

The report shows that BC residents’ intentions to travel within the province have increased after a slight dip in June. As of July 13th, 89% of BC residents anticipate taking a trip to a nearby community or a day trip, and 82% anticipate taking an overnight trip elsewhere in BC in the next 12 months.
