Q:  I’ve been hearing in the media that I won’t be able to get to Tofino.  Is this correct?

A:   Highway 4, Tofino, Ucluelet and Pacific Rim National Park Reserve are open.  Access to some First Nation communities is not allowed in order to ensure their safety and security.  Parking is also not allowed near these communities.

A:   Yes, we encourage you to shop locally for all your needs.

Q:  Where can I find information on what’s open?

A:   For a current list of businesses and services that are open go to the  News and Blogs section of the Tourism Tofino website (tourismtofino.com).

Q.  Is the free Shuttle running this year?

A.  Unfortunately the shuttle is not running this year but there are some private transportation companies who are offering shuttle and taxi services.   Please ask your accommodation provider for details.

Q:  Is there anything else I should know or prepare for?

A:  For “Know before you go” information go to the “Travelling to Tofino during COVID-19”  bulletin on the home page of the Tourism Tofino website (tourismtofino.com).
