Dear members,
Over the past 2 days there has been media coverage regarding the Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council Statement on access to the Hahuuli . Some of the coverage has indicated that access to Tofino, Ucluelet and Pacific Rim National Park Reserve is restricted which has created confusion. Although non-essential travel is still currently not recommended by the Province of BC, and access to Indigenous communities is restricted, Tofino, Ucluelet and Pacific Rim National Park Reserve remain open.
Our Visitor Centre, and several of you, are receiving calls from your customers about this and we encourage you to assure them that Highway 4 is open as are Tofino, Ucluelet and Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
