Hello Members,
We all find ourselves in a truly surreal situation, one that is changing every minute. The tourism industry has seen its share of ups and downs but the landscape that we currently find ourselves in is unprecedented.
Destinations throughout BC and Canada have rallied around our governments to reinforce the importance of staying home to flatten the curve. Making the decision to advise people against travel is one that no destination ever thought they would have to make, and yet it has happened.
We understand that you are all anxious and that the stoppage of travel will have a serious impact on you, your families, your staff and your businesses. Please be assured that not only do we understand this but so do our provincial and federal tourism officials and they are working tirelessly with their government counterparts to ensure that the delivery of support programs is expedited.
On behalf of our Board and Staff I would like to thank you for facing this extraordinarily difficult situation head on and doing what needs to be done for the sake of public safety. We will get through this together, as a community, and look forward to a time when this is in our past.
Stay well, Nancy

Please contact the Visitor Centre at info@tourismtofino.com or 250-800-7380 for help to place people.
Visitor Centre: The Tofino Visitor Centre is closed to walk-ins but will continue to service inquiries by phone, e-mail and social media.
